Florafinders (https://florafinders.com) is operated by FloraFinders.com ("we", "us", "our").

What Florafinders is

Florafinders is an aggregator catalogue. We index listings from independent orchid nurseries and display them together so you can compare. We are not a seller. We do not hold plants. We do not ship anything. When you click through to buy, you transact directly with the grower, under their terms, not ours.

Outbound and third-party links

Links from Florafinders to grower product pages are provided for convenience. We do not control those pages. A listing may be sold out, the price may have changed since we last checked it, or the page may redirect. We cannot guarantee that any specific listing will be available when you arrive.

Grower websites are independent third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or the plants they sell, and linking to a grower does not mean we endorse them. If a grower's page shows different information from ours, the grower's page is authoritative. That is where you are buying from.

Affiliate links

Florafinders does not use affiliate links today and receives no payment from growers for clicks or sales. If that changes we will disclose it here and on the affected listings, and ranking will not depend on it.

Plant guarantees, shipping, refunds

We have no role in the sale. Any guarantee, shipping policy, refund rule, or plant health claim is the grower's. If you receive a damaged plant, contact the grower. You may let us know about a grower who does not honour their own policy, but we cannot resolve disputes or issue refunds on a grower's behalf.

CITES and plant-import rules

All orchids are covered by CITES. International shipments require CITES permits, and most countries also require a phytosanitary certificate and an import permit. You are responsible for complying with CITES and the plant-import rules of your own country before ordering across a border. Florafinders does not issue, check, or guarantee any permit or certificate.

Fair use of the site

You are welcome to browse Florafinders for personal research and shopping. You are welcome to link to our pages and to share URLs.

What we ask you not to do:

• Do not scrape our pages. Sending automated traffic that substantially rebuilds our catalogue outside Florafinders is prohibited. We put real work into the canonical identity layer and we do not want it replicated without a conversation.
• Do not misrepresent our data. Please do not publish Florafinders prices or stock data elsewhere as if they were your own indexing.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service. Automated abuse, denial-of-service attacks, and credential stuffing against any part of the service are prohibited.

Within those limits, personal spreadsheets, bookmark collections, and non-commercial research are welcome.

API access

We are not publishing a public API at launch. If you are building a tool that needs structured Florafinders data — a mobile client, a collector-group portal, a research project — email hello@florafinders.com with what you want to do.

Accuracy disclaimer

We work to keep the catalogue accurate, but it is compiled largely automatically. Most grower pages are re-checked every night and some about every three days; names are matched to canonical identities by a combination of reference data, automated rules and a language model, and only some matches are reviewed by hand. Errors occur. If you spot one, please email us.

Prices and stock status reflect what a grower's page showed when we last checked it and can change at any time. Prices are shown in US dollars; where a grower lists in another currency we convert at a reference exchange rate that we update periodically, not a live rate, so the converted figure is approximate. The grower charges in their own currency, and the price at their checkout is the one that applies.

Florafinders is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the information is error-free, that every canonical identity is correct, or that any specific listing will be available when you click. Buy from the grower on their terms.

Our rights

We own the Florafinders name, the canonical identity layer, the site design, and the editorial content (guides, genus intros, page copy). Please do not republish them. The underlying listing data (name, price, stock) on individual grower rows is sourced from the grower; we claim no ownership of it.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Florafinders against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Florafinders is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information shown on the site. Prices, stock status and product details are indicative only. The price, availability and description on the grower's own website at the time of purchase are the ones that apply, and any dispute about a purchase is between you and the grower.

Changes

We update these terms occasionally. The effective date at the top reflects the current version. When we make a material change, we will note it on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States. Disputes that are not resolved informally go to the state or federal courts in San Francisco.
