Bulbophyllum orientale

Bulbophyllum orientale is a small pseudobulbous epiphyte from southern Yunnan province of China, Thailand and Vietnam. It grows in evergreen primary montane forests and semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savanna-like woodlands at elevations of 500 to 2300 metres. This subtropical species prefers intermediate temperatures and partial shade and blooms in spring and summer.
