Calanthe vestita

Calanthe vestita is a medium-sized pseudobulbous epiphyte or lithophyte with a terrestrial growth habit. It occurs from Assam to New Guinea in hill forests on limestone in Myanmar, Vietnam, lower Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and Sulawesi. The species grows in wet tropical climates, prefers cool temperatures and partial sun, and blooms in winter.
