Cattleya Kokubun belongs to the genus Cattleya. Its seed parent is Cattleya walkeriana, a species native to western and central and south-east Brazil, and its pollen parent is Cattleya praestans, a species native to Brazil in Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo. Syoji Suzuki registered the grex with the RHS in 2018.
