The hybrid Cattleya Orpetii x luteola belongs to the genus Cattleya. Its seed parent Cattleya pumila is a species native to south-east Brazil while its pollen parent Cattleya coccinea is a species native to south-east and south Brazil to Argentina in Misiones. Orpet registered the grex with the RHS in 1901.
