Cymbidium cochleare
Cymbidium cochleare is a large pseudobulbous epiphyte with terrestrial growth habit native to the east Himalaya through south-west Yunnan in China and north Indo-China to Taiwan. It occurs at 300 to 1600 metres in shady hot to cool tropical valleys of wet tropical climate preferring hot temperatures and partial shade and produces fragrant blooms in winter and spring.
