Dendrobium aloifolium

Dendrobium aloifolium is a large pseudobulbous epiphyte native from Indo-China to New Guinea. It occurs in lowland and hill forests from sea level to 600 meters in Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, the Lesser Sunda Islands, New Guinea and the Philippines. This species grows in wet tropical climates, prefers hot temperatures and partial shade, and blooms in spring.
