Dendrobium subacaule

Dendrobium subacaule is a miniature pseudobulbous epiphyte. It grows in the Moluccas, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands on moss covered twigs in montane forests at 1700 to 2500 metres. This cool growing species from wet tropical climates prefers partial shade and blooms in spring and fall.
