Epidendrum geminiflorum

Epidendrum geminiflorum is an epiphytic subshrub with a terrestrial growth habit. It occurs in montane cloud forests on steep embankments from Surinam through Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador to Peru at elevations of 1800 to 3100 metres. The species grows in wet tropical climates with cool temperatures and partial shade and blooms in winter, spring, summer, fall and early summer.
