Epidendrum glossaspis

Epidendrum glossaspis is known as the Eyelash Epidendrum. It occurs as an epiphyte and terrestrial plant in very wet premontane forest in southern Ecuador on the eastern slope of the Andes and in Peru on the Cordillera Condor at 700 to 1900 metres. This giant species grows in wet tropical conditions with intermediate temperatures and partial shade, blooming in spring, summer and fall.
