Epidendrum macbridei

Epidendrum macbridei is a miniature epiphyte from Ecuador to central Peru. It occurs in wet montane forests at 900 to 2800 metres elevation in a wet tropical climate with intermediate temperatures and partial shade. The plant blooms in summer in cultivation and winter in nature with resupinate non fragrant flowers that have green sepals, petals and basal column half, the apical column half and lip being white.
