Epidendrum microdiothoneum

Epidendrum microdiothoneum is a large plant native to Ecuador. It occurs on the western slopes of the Andes at elevations from 1900 to 2200 metres in wet tropical climate. The species grows as an epiphyte with terrestrial habit, prefers cool temperatures and partial shade, and produces fragrant blooms in summer, fall and late summer.
