Epidendrum porquerense

Epidendrum porquerense is a miniature epiphyte. It occurs in western Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru on the Western, Central and Eastern Cordillera of the Andes at the edges of wet montane pine and oak forests at elevations from 800 to 2240 metres. The species grows in wet tropical conditions with intermediate temperatures and partial shade and blooms in fall and winter.
