Flickingeria scopa is an epiphytic orchid first described in 1981. It grows in low stature hill forests of Borneo, Sulawesi and the Philippines at elevations from 500 to 900 metres. This giant plant prefers intermediate temperatures and partial shade, blooming in spring, summer and fall.
