Habenaria rhodocheila

Habenaria rhodocheila is a small terrestrial tuberous geophyte from south China to Peninsula Malaysia and the Philippines. It grows at elevations of 200 to 1300 metres in subtropical climates with cool temperatures and partial shade on mossy rocks in mixed deciduous forests, grassy pine forests or bamboo forests often near streams and waterfalls. Blooms occur in summer, fall and early fall.
