Hemipilia calophylla

Hemipilia calophylla is a miniature terrestrial orchid and tuberous geophyte native to China from Yunnan to north Indo-China. It occurs in crevasses of limestone cliffs within hill evergreen forests, seasonal evergreen forests and bamboo thickets at elevations of 640 to 2100 metres. The species grows in wet tropical climates under intermediate temperatures and partial shade, flowering in summer and fall.
