Mediocalcar bifolium

Mediocalcar bifolium is a miniature pseudobulbous epiphyte native to New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. It forms mats in montane rain and subalpine forests and shrublands or on mossy rocks or roadcuts at altitudes of 1800 to 2600 metres. The species grows in wet tropical conditions with a preference for cool temperatures and partial shade and blooms in winter spring summer and fall.
