Miltoniopsis phalaenopsis
Pansy orchid
Miltoniopsis phalaenopsis, the Phalaenopsis-Like Miltoniopsis, is a small pseudobulbous epiphyte native to north-east and central Colombia. It occurs at elevations of 1200 to 1500 metres in the Cundinarca and Norte de Santander departments. The species prefers cool temperatures and partial sun in wet tropical climates and blooms in summer, fall and late summer.
