Odontoglossum hallii

Odontoglossum hallii, also known as Hall's Odontoglossum, is a large cold growing terrestrial orchid from Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It occurs at altitudes of 1200 to 3000 metres in very wet montane cloud forests and prefers partial shade. The plant blooms in spring and summer with large variably coloured distinctly scented stellate to slightly campanulate flowers.
