Oncidium nebulosum

Oncidium nebulosum is a large pseudobulbous epiphyte known as the Cloud Forest Oncidium. It occurs in Sinaloa, Durango, Jalisco, Michoacan, Guerrero, Morelos and Oaxaca states of Mexico and Guatemala as well as from Costa Rica to Peru, growing on oak trees in oak and pine forests at 1500 to 2300 metres. The species prefers cold temperatures and partial shade in wet tropical climates and blooms in winter.
