Phalaenopsis hygrochila

Phalaenopsis hygrochila is a large epiphytic orchid from Assam India, the eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, southern China and Vietnam. It grows in evergreen and semi-deciduous forests on limestone cliffs or in primary montane forests at altitudes of 100 to 1500 metres. The species prefers cool temperatures and full sun. It blooms in winter, spring and late winter and is fragrant.
