Phalaenopsis wilsonii is a miniature epiphytic orchid. It occurs from Assam in Nagaland through south China to north Indo-China, growing in montane forests at elevations of 800 to 2200 metres. This subtropical species prefers intermediate temperatures and produces fragrant flowers in spring.
