Phragmipedium Eric Young is a grex in the genus Phragmipedium with seed parent Phragmipedium besseae, a species native to south Ecuador to north Peru, and pollen parent Phragmipedium longifolium, a species native to Costa Rica to Ecuador and Brazil (Rondônia). It was registered with the RHS by E.Young O.F. in 1991. This page is for the named form xanthinum red.
