Pleione lagenaria is a grex belonging to the genus Pleione. The seed parent is Pleione maculata, a species native to Central Himalaya to China (west Yunnan), and the pollen parent is Pleione praecox, a species native to WC. Himalaya to China (south Yunnan) and Indo-China. The grex was registered with the RHS by hort. in 1980.
