Pleurothallis tribuloides is a miniature epiphytic orchid first described in 1830. It occurs from Mexico to Surinam in dense wet evergreen or deciduous forests on oaks at elevations of 300 to 1300 metres. The cool growing plants bloom in summer and fall.
