Stanhopea annulata
Stanhopea annulata is a large pseudobulbous epiphyte with a terrestrial growth habit. It occurs from south Colombia to Ecuador and in Bolivia in tropical wet and wet montane forests on western slopes at elevations of 100 to 950 metres under wet tropical conditions. The species prefers intermediate temperatures and partial sun and blooms in winter, spring, summer and fall.
