Catasetum microglossum is a medium-sized pseudobulbous epiphyte from south-east Colombia to south Venezuela and Peru. It occurs in densely forested tropical lowlands in a wet tropical climate. The plant prefers intermediate temperatures and partial sun and blooms during fall and winter.
