Eria bractescens

Eria bractescens, known as the Bracteate Eria, is a medium-sized epiphytic orchid. It grows in lowland forests across Assam, Bangladesh, the eastern Himalayas, Nepal, the Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, the Moluccas, Sulawesi and the Philippines at elevations from 20 to 1800 metres. The plant prefers cool temperatures and partial sun and produces fragrant flowers in spring and summer.
