Slipper orchid
Paphiopedilum emersonii is a large lithophytic orchid. It occurs in China from south Guizhou and Guangxi to north Vietnam and in Yunnan province at elevations of 460 to 750 metres. It grows in subtropical conditions with a hot temperature preference and partial shade, flowering in spring and late spring.
