Pholidota chinensis

Pholidota chinensis is a small epiphytic orchid first described in 1847. It occurs in Vietnam, Myanmar, Hong Kong and Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hiuzhou, Hainan, Xizang, Yunnan and Zheziang provinces of China at elevations from 300 to 2500 metres, growing on damp rocks near streams. The plant prefers cool temperatures and partial shade and produces fragrant flowers in spring.
