About Pholidota
Pholidota orchids are plants with an epiphytic or lithophytic growth habit. Species are recorded from elevations of 300 to 2500 metres. They show a preference for cool and intermediate temperatures. The typical plant size is small or large. Fragrance is recorded for most species. The main bloom seasons are spring, winter and fall.
