Pomatocalpa spicata

Pomatocalpa spicata is a small epiphytic orchid from the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Bhutan, Sikkim, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, southern China, Vietnam, the Malaysia peninsula, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Lesser Sunda Islands, Sulawesi and the Philippines. It occurs in evergreen lowland forests and primary montane forests at 200 to 1600 metres. It prefers cool temperatures and partial sun, blooming in winter, spring, summer and late winter.
