Acanthophippium orchids

Acanthophippium species are pseudobulbous geophytes from wet tropical climates. They occur from Sikkim to the Philippines and Japan on Yakushima. The plants show a typical preference for hot temperatures. Main bloom seasons are spring, fall and summer.
