Aeridovanda orchids

Aeridovanda is an artificial hybrid genus. Its registered hybrids combine Vanda and Aerides. Vanda species are epiphytic subshrubs from China to temperate east Asia, Indo-China, Arunachal Pradesh to China south Yunnan and Indo-China in wet tropical climate. Aerides species are epiphytic subshrubs from the Philippines, China west Yunnan and Guangdong to tropical Asia and Indo-China in wet tropical climate.

The genus has 16 hybrids catalogued. Registered hybrids include Aeridovanda Bangkok Star, Aeridovanda Lemon Jasmin, Aeridovanda Suwannaphum Sunshine and Aeridovanda Photisan.
