Amesiella orchids

Amesiella species are miniature epiphytic orchids from the Philippines. They grow as epiphytes in wet tropical climates and have an epiphytic growth habit. The elevation range recorded for the species is 1200 to 1200 metres. These orchids prefer intermediate and cool temperatures. Their main bloom seasons are spring, winter and summer.

Four species are catalogued in total. The examples given are Amesiella monticola, Amesiella philippinensis and Amesiella minor. Five hybrids are catalogued. The registered hybrids listed include Amesiella LOC Snow White and Amesiella Sparkling Jewel.
