Ancistrochilus orchids

Ancistrochilus plants are pseudobulbous epiphytes from wet tropical regions of west Tropical Africa to Uganda. They favour intermediate temperatures. Blooming occurs in winter, fall and summer.

Four species are catalogued. An example species is Ancistrochilus rothschildianus.
