Aranthera orchids

Aranthera is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Renanthera and Arachnis. Renanthera species are epiphytic subshrubs from the Philippines including Luzon, Arunachal Pradesh to China south Yunnan and Indo-China in wet tropical climate. Arachnis species are climbers from south Indo-China to west Malesia and the Philippines, the eastern Himalaya to north Myanmar and east Himalaya to Taiwan in wet tropical climate.

Five hybrids are catalogued. The example registered hybrids are Aranthera Anne Black and Aranthera James Storie.
