Brassocattleya orchids

Brassocattleya is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Cattleya and Brassavola. Cattleya species are pseudobulbous epiphytes from north Venezuela, west-central and south-east Brazil, south-east and south Brazil. They grow in a seasonally dry tropical climate. Brassavola species are epiphytes or lithophytes from Mexico to Venezuela and south-west and south Caribbean, the Caribbean, Colombia to Venezuela and Brazil from Bahia to Goiás. They grow in a seasonally dry tropical climate.
