Caularthron orchids

Caularthron species are pseudobulbous epiphytes from wet tropical regions. They occur from Trinidad-Tobago to north Brazil and Colombia. Plants are medium sized and prefer intermediate temperatures. Most species are fragrant. They bloom mainly in spring and winter.

Two species are catalogued along with one hybrid. An example species is Caularthron bicornutum.
