Chaubardia orchids

Chaubardia species are pseudobulbous epiphytes. Their typical lifeform is that of a pseudobulbous epiphyte. The growth habit is epiphytic. They are found in wet tropical climates. The locations are Ecuador to Bolivia and west South America to Brazil. The elevation range of the species is 200 to 1700 metres. Typical plant size is small and large. The temperature preference is intermediate and hot. Main bloom seasons are spring, winter and summer.

Two species are catalogued. The example species are Chaubardia heteroclita and Chaubardia klugii.
