Chaubardiella orchids

Chaubardiella species are miniature pseudobulbous epiphytes that come from wet tropical climates. They are found in south-east Ecuador and Colombia at elevations from 300 to 1800 metres. The growth habit is terrestrial or epiphytic and the temperature preference is intermediate or hot. Most species are recorded as fragrant and the main bloom seasons are in spring.

Two species are catalogued. The example species named on the sheet are Chaubardiella dalessandroi and Chaubardiella pubescens.
