Cleisocentron orchids

Cleisocentron are epiphytic subshrubs from wet tropical and subtropical regions. They occur from China in south-east Yunnan to Vietnam, north Borneo and Borneo in Sabah. These medium-sized plants grow at elevations of 1800 to 1800 metres and prefer cool temperatures. They bloom mainly in spring, winter and fall.

Three species are catalogued. The example species are Cleisocentron gokusingii, Cleisocentron malipoense and Cleisocentron merrillianum.
