Cleisostoma Rostratum

Cleisostoma rostratum is a medium sized lithophytic orchid. It occurs in Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan and Yunnan provinces of China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. The plant grows at 300 to 650 metres elevation on rocky cliffs in shady places in primary and secondary evergreen broadleafed coniferous and deciduous forests, prefers hot temperatures and partial shade, and blooms in summer.
