Corybas orchids

Corybas species are miniature tuberous geophytes or epiphytes. They grow terrestrially or lithophytically in wet tropical and subtropical climates. Elevations range from 80 to 3040 metres. Temperature preferences are cool or hot. Bloom seasons are spring and summer. Species occur in China, Peninsula Thailand, Vietnam, Borneo, the Philippines, Taiwan and west Malesia.

Ten species are catalogued. Example species are Corybas geminigibbus, Corybas annamensis, Corybas crenulatus, Corybas ecarinatus and Corybas himalaicus.
