Coryhopea orchids

Coryhopea is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Stanhopea and Coryanthes. Both parent genera consist of pseudobulbous epiphytes that occur in wet tropical climates. Stanhopea species are recorded from Central America, south Colombia to Ecuador and west Colombia to Ecuador. Coryanthes species are recorded from Peru in Loreto, from west South America to north Brazil and from Peru in Amazonas and San Martín.

Six hybrids are catalogued. Coryhopea Imaginations is one example.
