Dimorphorchis orchids

Dimorphorchis species are epiphytic subshrubs. They have a typical growth habit that is epiphytic. The plants are large in size. They come from wet tropical climates in Borneo, listed most frequently, and also Borneo on Gunung Kinabalu. The elevation range is 300 to 1200 metres. The temperature preference is hot. Most species are recorded as fragrant. Bloom seasons are spring, winter and fall.

Five species are catalogued. The example species are Dimorphorchis lowii and Dimorphorchis rossii.
