Dipodium orchids

Dipodium species are large plants that have a terrestrial growth habit. They are also listed with an epiphytic lifeform. The species come from south Indo-China to west Malesia. They are found in a wet tropical climate. Elevations range from 150 to 1000 metres. Temperature preference is intermediate. Most species are recorded as fragrant. Bloom seasons include early fall, fall and late spring.
