Elleanthus blatteus

Elleanthus blatteus is a medium sized terrestrial orchid from south Colombia to east and south Ecuador. It grows in very wet montane forests at elevations of 1100 to 2600 metres in a wet tropical climate. The species prefers cool temperatures and partial sun and blooms in spring, summer and fall.
