Embreea orchids

Embreea species are pseudobulbous epiphytes. The typical lifeform is a pseudobulbous epiphyte with epiphytic growth habit. They come from wet tropical climates. The places are Ecuador in Morona-Santiago and west Colombia. Elevation range of the species is 400 to 1500 metres. Typical temperature preference is intermediate and cool. Typical plant size is small and large. The typical growth habit is epiphytic. Main bloom seasons are spring.

Three species are catalogued. The example species are Embreea rodigasiana and Embreea herrenhusana.
