Encyvola orchids

Encyvola is an artificial hybrid genus. Its registered hybrids combine Encyclia and Brassavola. Encyclia species are pseudobulbous epiphytes from wet tropical climates in Mexico to north South America and Curaçao, Florida to Bahamas, and Brazil. Brassavola species are epiphytes or lithophytes from seasonally dry tropical climates in Mexico to Venezuela and the Caribbean, Colombia to Venezuela, and Brazil.

Six hybrids are catalogued. One example is Encyvola Jairak Treasure ‘Halistar’.
